John Keller

Welcome to the official website of songwriter and guitarist John Keller. A central NY native, The Rome (NY) Observer defined John Keller's music as “lively...original musical art… chunky blues, love ballads and Americana folk tunes.” But his music goes beyond that. John Keller writes songs that have souls of their own. He paints characters and images in your mind so clearly that it's almost like he draws the audience into the story.

7.29.10 - We're doing it again!!! The full John Keller Band will perform ONE 2010 show at Utica Monday Nite August 9th 6-8PM. The full band consists of John Keller - Guitar/Vocals, Michael DePalma - Bass/Vocals, Elizabeth Simchik Friedel - Violin/Vocals, Mike Stone - Lead Guitar/Vocals, & Robert Shkane - Drums/Percussion. Don't miss this one!

6.29.10 - Come join me at The MWPAI Arts Festival Genesee St. Utica, NY Sat. July 3rd & Sun. July 4th. On Saturday I will play host to an Acoustic Open Jam. Bring your guitar, banjo, jaw harp, etc. & come play for the crowd. Sunday, I will perform a full set of originals and fun covers. 2PM both days. See you there!!

6.16.10 - My side project, What's This!?!!, will be performing The Beatles' albums Let It Be & Abbey Road in their entirety LIVE!! Saturday July 10th 8PM at The Tramontane Cafe Utica, NY. This will be an incredible night of music! Come join the festivities.

4.8.10 - A couple of spotlight dates - Thursday April 15th I will be the musical guest on WCNY Connected, a CNY PBS television program 9PM EST. Also, the May 7th issue of Goldmine magazine will profile my store Off-Center Records. Goldmine is a worldwide publication.
